Theme 2022: When the Lord turned again our captivity, it was like a dream.

Psalm 126

¹ When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

² Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

³ The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

⁴ Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.

⁵ They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

⁶ He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

You crown the year with goodness!

Psalm 65:11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

I will surely eat the fruit of my labor.

Isaiah 62:8-9
⁸ The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: ⁹ But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

God himself has sworn to me that I will surely eat the fruit of my labor. Thank you Lord. Amen

Whoever finds Him finds life.

Proverbs 8:35 For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the LORD.

God is no respecter of persons.

Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons

Every one of us has been presented with an opportunity of blessings in Christ without partiality. In Christ there is no more Jew or Gentile. Jesus is Lord of all.

God is just.

Romans 9:14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Certainly not!
Father in heaven, in December I believe this; that You are just.

God is impartial.

Romans 2:11 For God does not show favoritism.
For there is no respect of persons with God.

The just shall live by faith.

Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

God can turn any heart.

Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Even the hardest heart can be turned by God.

The Lord hears.

Hosea 2:21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth.

The Lord hears the sound of creation. He hears prayers and he commands response to them.

The Lord shall answer before I call.

Isaiah 65:2 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

I will rebuke the devourer for you, says the Lord.

Malachi 3:11 I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your land, and the vine in your field will not fail to produce fruit,” says the LORD of Hosts.
