Psalm 37:34 Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.
What is to delight the Lord? It is to please Him. God is a person with feelings and emotions, and one who created man in His own likeness. What is to delight in the Lord? It is to be happy, joyful, to take pleasure in the Lord. It is usual that when a person is pleased, they release a blessing. When God is pleased, He gives you the desires of your heart. Pleasing God causes our hearts gladness/joy/happiness in Him. When we delight (please) the Lord and delight (be joyful/happy) in Him, He grants our hearts’ desires.
